We rang in the New Year with friends and had a great time. We had put Tyler to sleep but after about 40 minutes he decided he didn't want to miss out on the fun. We thought it might scare him to wake in a different bed but he didn't seem to care. Here he is still sleepy after getting out of bed.
Allison didn't want to miss out on the fun either so they stayed up with us. I think they handled the late hours better than Dan and I.
Tyler loved giving cheers. He wasn't too sure of the bubbly juice as you can see by the look on his face and spilt most of it but it was lots of fun.
New Year's Day Tyler woke at his regular time. We had breakfast and stayed up for a couple of hours but were all ready for a long nap by mid morning. My mom had given us the cutest pancake molds. There is a monkey, a lion, and an elephant. Tyler of course started with the monkey.
We spent the rest of the day at my Aunt and Uncle's with family. Enjoyed great company, food, and games. Tyler told my brother he had to go potty and Jared took him. Dan thought this event needed to be captured on camera. I was proud of my little bro for taking him and not passing him off to someone else. Maybe he is getting ready for little ones!!
Time again for swimming lessons. Tyler had lots of fun and did a great job. Here are pics of him floating on his back, blowing bubbles, and practicing getting out of the pool. He has the cutest little "doggie paddle" but I didn't get it on camera. The last five minutes they get free time to play with toys and practice kicking and arm movements. Tyler really enjoyed throwing his frog and "swimming" to get it.
