Tyler's 1st Christmas Present

Grandma Owen spoiled Tyler and let him open his Christmas present early. The excuse was that there was a bunch of snow on the ground and she wanted him to enjoy it as long as possible. Not pictured is a wind shield. It's really neat. This weekend we will play in the snow!

Jessica, Ronnie, & Cassi's Visit (& picture w/ Santa)

We were so excited that Jessica, Ronnie, & Cassi made it up to visit. We even had snow for them. Tyler got lots of kisses during the visit!

This picture is after Tyler pulled Cassi's hair.

This is Cassi forgiving Tyler and giving him a kiss. So cute!!

We went to eat at the Friday's at Miller park.

We did some after Thanksgiving shopping and Tyler had first visit with Santa at the mall. Dan took this picture right away. As soon as they started waving toys he gave the biggest smile so we bought the professional ones.

Thanksgiving Day

Family photo before the festivities began. Tyler sporting a cute outfit from Uncle Jared and Aunt Sandra.
Tyler with Great-Grandma! Dinner was at my Aunt Nancy's and was delicious!!
Brooke was clearly more fun than I was!
The cousins playing before dinner.
Tyler trying to help the Aunts look at after Thanksgiving sales.
Aunt Diane and Tyler.
Then the party moved to Grandpa's were we had delicious coconut cream pie!
Tyler with Uncle Jared before the trouble began.
Mya is such a good natured dog. She patiently let us have our fun. She has a motherly instinct around kids. She will occasionally give Tyler a little kiss and keeps guard. I don't have to worry about her getting too rough or hurting Tyler.

Thanksgiving Eve

The chefs! Steph and I made the Thanksgiving meal while Grandma played with Tyler and gave us coaching. It was a fun girls day (and of course Tyler).

Play time after dinner.

Bath Time

Tyler was growing out of his duck tub and we realized we hadn't taken any pictures. We had gotten the duck from friends and Tyler loved it. He could wiggle around and it was soft enough for him to not get hurt.

Tyler is now in the big tub but I am not ready to let him be in there on his own. He's like a little fish though! We often play in the tub for quite a while he loves to splash and play with his toys.

First Snow

Tyler all bundled up for a trip out in the snow for the first time.

We had gone out to eat and this was Tyler and I before the big poo. It was the messiest diaper yet and it figures we would be out and about. But we got him cleaned him up, put clean clothes on, and had a nice lunch.

Tyler playing in the snow. Well maybe trying to figure out what was going on.

Various Pics from Last Month

Dan showing Tyler bad habits again...

Grandma Owen and Tyler causing mischief!

Tyler is starting to figure out how to use his activity table on purpose. Until recently he loved to flip the page in the center but anything else was accidental.

What a face!!
Jay, Jaden, Karen, and Grandma Dorn came to visit!
I think these PJ's are so fun! Since this picture he started sleeping on his stomach.
I'm starting to get more comfortable with it but find myself checking more often to make sure he's getting enough air. Story time before bed.
Tyler thinks that anything we eat or drink should be his. Dan likes to tease him.

Tyler will take some assisted steps if he wants to bad enough. This time the penguin was worth it.
More books! Tyler loves his stories and can't get enough!

Tyler scoots and rolls to get where he wants to go but he will climb over obstacles if necessary.

Tyler and Dan watching little Einstein. He only has interest for a short time but the video gets his full attention.

One of his favorite toys.
Almost nap time.
One sock on and one sock off was a very common way to find Tyler until I gave up putting his socks on. Eventually he'll take off the second but the first one is off right away.
Grandpa Owen visiting.
Grandma and Grandpa Schaus came down to visit the weekend before Thanksgiving!
Grandma and Tyler plaing while we waited for Aunt Stephanie to visit from St. Louis.
Tyler sits pretty good if he wants to now. I still keep a hand on him or pillows around him but even if he starts to fall his strong abs usually make the fall slow and soft.
