new favorite things

When I get home from Target Tyler loves to empty everything out of the bag and play before I put it all away.

It's hard to tell but this is a shelf underneath our desk. Tyler can't stand up straight or he would bump his head on the actual desk. Dan and I do not enjoy crawling under there to get him out but he loves it.

Now instead of just playing with the contents inside the cabinet Tyler needs to crawl into the cabinet.
In general Tyler always needs to be as high as he can get. If he can stand on something he will. If he can grab on and do a pull up he will. It's crazy how strong he is.

St. Louis

Stephanie's boyfriend graduated from the police academy and we went down for the graduation. It was nice to see them and get away for a couple of days.

We got to meet Stewie. Tyler was fascinated and chased him around the room.

Mike wrote and gave the class speech.

Mike's father retired from the Police Department from his hometown and presented Mike with his diploma.

We went to a winery for a tour, tasting, and dinner. It was a lot of fun.

We saw Monk's Mound (the largest earthen structure north of Mexico). It took 300 hundred years to build.

Swimming

The last week of swimming class was cancelled and we couldn't make it to the rescheduled date so they gave us passes to splash around on our own. Tyler had so much fun! The lighting isn't great on the video but I put it on anyway.

Tyler doesn't want to miss a thing and has been trying to help Dad at the computer, installing safety features, adjusting the screen door, etc.
