Tyler

...is going to be a big brother in April! I'm 14 weeks and the baby's due date is April 28th. I've felt great...just tired. We are also excited because we have a few friends with due dates within weeks of the baby!

This picture is after we told Tyler. Although he doesn't understand he's been very sweet!

Tyler wanted to be in the first belly picture taken at 13 weeks. I am definitely showing earlier the second time around. My shirt hides it ok still but not for long.
We have had 4 ultrasounds already so we have seen this very active little one already and can't believe how fast he/she is growing. We have had the ultrasounds because I have a blood clot in my uterus. Not sure why...possibly from when the placenta attached. It was very emotional but the baby has been completely unaffected and the doctor doesn't feel it puts me at a higher risk anymore. Next week we will have another ultrasound and should be able to find out if Tyler will have a little brother or sister.

This is the most recent at 13 weeks.

My mom has come a few times to play with Tyler while Dan and I have gone to the doctor. It's been a huge help and Tyler loves it!

gingerbread house, tumbling, truck days and little helper

Dan and Tyler made a gingerbread house this weekend. I am not sure who was more excited to put it together but they had lots of fun! Tyler did great until it was almost done and he realized the pieces were edible...then he just kept trying to put them in his mouth.
Tyler finished his tumbling class. Tyler can now jump on the trampaline, swing on the bar, walk on a balance beem, and can almost do a summersault. He starts to do one but needs help swinging his butt over. It was a nice class run by the city, but if we sign up for tumbling again I think we might try a local gym that isn't as limited to activities.
We went to trucks days a few weeks ago. Dispite the chilly weather Tyler ran all over exploring all the trucks! The people with the trucks were great! They were encouraging the kids to honk horns, push buttons, etc.
Starting to enjoy playing with his train set.
Tyler continues to love to help me with everything. I am enjoying this while it lasts...

Football...

This year I am in my first fantasy football league. I am doing terrible... I have either lost or tied every week so far. To make it worse most of yesterday my team was looking good. Then during the last game Sunday night everything switched. Even with the poor performance I am having lots of fun and am enjoying the fun of fantasy football.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to pick our pumpkins this weekend. We were a little disappointed that the hayrides and such weren't running due to wet fields so we will have to go back later in the month.

Tyler got this idea to carve this pumpkin himself. Not quite sure how or why.
