Birthday Weekend

Where has the time gone? We can't believe our baby is one year old now. It was an amazing year and we loved every second. It is unbelievable all the changes that take place the first year and how he went from such a helpless little baby to an incredibly adventurous and exploratory toddler. Watching Tyler look at the world and learn all it has to offer really makes you sit back and enjoy the simpler things in life. Lately, Tyler has been a copy cat. He tries to repeat everything we say and do. Sometimes he's right on and sometimes more practice is required but either way it's a lot of fun and we have to be very careful. We look back at year one and are sad to see it go but are excited to see what advertures year two will bring!
Tyler's 1st Birthday began with a trip to the doctor for his one year physical. Are we not the meanest parents ever...shots on his birthday. He did great and got to take a long nap before his guests arrived.

Big thanks to Aunt Stephanie and Sandra for helping Dan clean Tyler up. Dan said he didn't know what to do.
Tyler didn't quite understand why he was given so many nice gifts and not allowed to play with any of them. He was patient and opened them all and then got to play with all his new things.
