4D Ultrasound (30 weeks)
Tuesday we went for our 4D ultrasound. He wasn't very cooperative and was quite content sleeping. After quite a bit of trying we were able to get him to wake up for a little while. It was amazing! Some of the highlights were watching him open his month, yawn, crack his eyes open, lift his little toes in front of his face, rub his eyes, and fight us in hopes that we would just let him rest. (His face was settled in next to the placenta so we had trouble getting clear shots.) According to measurements taken he appears to be a couple of weeks ahead of the game. So we are looking for him to come early or to be approximately 9lbs. 4 ozs. at full term. There is of course a certain percentage of error possible in her calculations and we hope that he is a bit smaller. Currently he weights about 4 lbs. 4ozs. and should gain about 1/2 lb per week for the next 10 weeks.
He has pudgy little legs!
