Bryce 9 months, swimming, & basketball

Bryce recently turned 9 months! He celebrated the occasion with a double ear infection and teething but is such a happy little guy that we had no idea until the doctor told us at his check-up. Otherwise his check-up was great. He measured in at 29 1/2 inch tall and 22 pounds 8 ounces in weight. So much has changed since 6 months. He now eats almost everything...so far we haven't found a food he doesn't like. He waves, plays peek-a-boo, crawls, pulls himself up to a standing position, is SUPER ticklish, has an incredibly fun sense of humor, loves to explore, when we mention a family members name he looks for them, gives kisses, says mom when he wants me :)...he can say da da but not sure if he has meaning with it yet, the list is already starting to go on and on! His favorite activity still involves anything with Tyler. They are so fun to watch together! He is starting to understand sign language. He looks at his hands and me...and is trying to get them to do what he wants. He is able to acknowledge that he understands when I do the sign. Both boys are great and although there are occasionaly challenging times when they both want something at the same time...those times are rare and both boys are amazingly patient and understanding!

Both boys are enjoying swimming lessons! Bryce and daddy do a parent and me class and Bryce has fun splashing and playing games.

Tyler started doing private lessons and is doing great except that it's taking him a little time to warm up to the instructor. Dan still has to get in the water with him but I think after the next sesson Tyler will be fine with just the instructor. After 2 sessons he can float on his back and briefly stay up with a front crawl. He's currently learning the steps for his back stroke. Tyler loves to jump in the water and requests to do so often.

Tyler has one more week left of basketball then he is doing another sesson of soccer and his creative drama class will be starting up again.

Bryce playing some ball too.

Bryce enjoying finger foods.

A video of Bryce's first crawl. He's all over the place now!
